There’s a new ebuild of gdm-themes in portage’s tree. The old ebuilds got booted for licensing issues, since we either didn’t know what license the themes were under or the authors weren’t happy with us redistributing them. All the old ones are gone, with new ones in their place. I basically sucked down everything from art.gnome.org that has a license that’s already in our repository.
The naming scheme got changed as well, it’s just gdm-themes-20070811 now. I tested them all on gdm-2.18.4, and they worked for me. Some might not work with older versions.
If someone finds more themes to add, just let me know or file a bug on bugzilla. Also, thanks to Dawid (cla) on the artwork team for helping out.
