I’m actually also using it, even though the portage message is “Use the in-kernel drivers instead of this!”…

I guess I’m just lazy and haven’t made the switch since I actually don’t have a reason for running the ebuild instead. It is a good way of using the latest stuff though.

Good work keeping it alive! Perhaps I’ll follow the advice and “emerge -C” it later this afternoon and use the kernel one instead ;)

- If you resume with monolithic kernel it loads all its contents before resume includinding driver initalization
- If you resume with modular kernel it loads all compiled-in parts before loading after only blacklisted modules

As far as I remember making modular kernel saved around 50%-75% of resume time.
